Attending the signing ceremony, on behalf of the Tax Department ( Ministry of Finance ) were Mr. Mai Son - Deputy Director of the Tax Department; representatives of departments and units under the Tax Department and units under Hanoi Tax.
On Agribank's side, there were Mr. To Huy Vu - Chairman of Agribank's Board of Members; Mr. Pham Toan Vuong - Member of the Board of Members, General Director; members of the Board of Members; Deputy General Directors; members of the Board of Supervisors; Chief Accountant; leaders of units.
The signing ceremony also had representatives of the board of directors of Vietnam Payment Solutions Joint Stock Company ( VNPAY ) and representatives of business household customers in Hanoi.
According to the signed content, the two sides will deploy solutions including: support for opening accounts and paying taxes electronically; integrating payments with electronic invoices; providing instructions on using cash registers; organizing direct consultation points at the facility; and at the same time, widely communicating so that business households can grasp and become familiar with the new declaration process.

To support business households in meeting new tax management requirements, Agribank proactively built an integrated solution package including electronic invoices, electronic payments, digital signatures and sales management software integrated into banking applications.
On December 3, Agribank also organized internal training throughout the system; at the same time, many branches also signed coordination agreements with tax authorities of provinces and cities.
Mr. Mai Son, Deputy Director of the Tax Department, assessed that the solution set has made significant progress, integrating from sales management to tax declaration operations in a closed platform. Business households can use it with peace of mind, without having to install many separate software.
This is expected to reduce errors, increase transparency and improve the business experience during the transition.

Currently, the country has about 3.6 million business households, of which 2.2 million are subject to tax management. According to the Tax Department, the shift from lump-sum tax to declared tax is a necessary step to increase transparency, standardize business activities and expand access to formal financial services for this economic sector.
In that context, Agribank's network of more than 2,200 branches and transaction offices, mostly located in rural and remote areas, is identified as an important support channel to help business households access the new tax model. Because the bank has the advantage of understanding the area, a wide customer base and the ability to provide direct guidance to each household, especially in places where technological conditions are limited.
Mr. To Huy Vu, Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank, said that the cooperation with the Tax Department is part of the orientation of accompanying the State to promote digital transformation, reform administrative procedures and expand cashless payments.
“Supporting business households in converting tax models is a key task of the Agribank system in the current period,” Mr. Vu affirmed.

To effectively cooperate in each locality, the Chairman of the Board of Members of Agribank requested branches nationwide to closely coordinate with local Tax Departments to train, guide and directly support taxpayers.
Agribank currently manages more than 3,000 business household customers. To meet the new legal requirements on electronic invoices, the bank has also proactively built a comprehensive solution package for business households.
Previously, on December 1, Agribank and VNPAY signed an agreement to deploy a digital transformation solution specifically for business households and small businesses, including electronic invoices, digital signatures, sales software and cloud storage.
In parallel with technological solutions, the bank offers free opening and maintenance of payment accounts; free gift of beautiful account numbers; free OTT balance notification on Agribank Plus; preferential credit packages to support business households in converting their operating models.
