(NLĐO) - While traveling on a winding mountain pass, a tanker truck suddenly plunged into a ravine, killing two people on board.
According to initial information, the serious accident occurred at approximately 9:30 AM on January 7th. At that time, a cement tanker truck with license plate 19H-054.xx, while traveling on Provincial Road 172, on the slope of Ban Pass, Tan Thinh commune, Van Chan district, Yen Bai province, suddenly plunged into a deep ravine. The accident trapped the driver and passenger inside the truck's cabin.

Upon receiving the report, authorities and law enforcement arrived at the scene, mobilizing cranes and assisting local residents to extricate the two victims. However, both had already died.
Currently, the cause of this particularly serious traffic accident is being investigated and clarified by the authorities.
