(Dan Tri Newspaper) - A tractor-trailer carrying goods on the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway suddenly burst into flames. As a result, the front of the tractor-trailer was completely burned. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
On the morning of March 6th, information from the unit managing the Da Nang - Quang Ngai expressway indicated that a tractor-trailer fire occurred at approximately 5:20 AM on the same day at kilometer 24+800, in Duy Son commune, Duy Xuyen district, Quang Nam province.
According to initial information, at the time of the incident, a container truck with license plate 98F-007.13, towing a trailer with license plate 98R-036.31 (driven by Dang Minh Thang, 36 years old, residing in Bac Giang province), was traveling on the highway when it suddenly caught fire.
A short while later, the flames flared up intensely, engulfing the front of the vehicle.

Upon receiving the report, the authorities in Quang Nam province, in coordination with Traffic Police Team No. 5, arrived at the scene to extinguish the fire and manage traffic flow.
At approximately 6:10 AM the same day, the authorities extinguished the fire; however, the front of the tractor-trailer was completely burned, and the trailer was also damaged.
According to driver Thang's statement, while the vehicle was traveling on the highway at a speed of approximately 70 km/h, he noticed smoke and a burning smell.
He then turned on his turn signal, steered into the emergency lane, opened the door to check, and discovered flames rising from under the vehicle.

He used the mini fire extinguisher kept in the fire truck, but because the fire was raging so fiercely, the mini extinguisher couldn't put it out. He then called the authorities.
The cause of the fire is currently being investigated by the authorities.
