At around 1:15 p.m. on April 24, at Km 154+900 on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai Expressway in Tan Hop Commune, Van Yen District (Yen Bai), a series of traffic accidents occurred between 4 cars. Specifically, the series of accidents involved 4 vehicles including a truck with license plate 49H-013.57, two passenger cars with license plates 29H-918.19, 29K-032.50, and a tractor trailer with license plate 34E-008.41. According to initial information, the accident injured 3 people, damaged 4 vehicles, and caused a local traffic jam.
At the scene. Notably, the truck with license plate 49H-013.XX had its cabin crushed, trapping the driver inside. At the time of the accident, it was not raining, and the vehicles were stopped and parked because the contractor was paving the road. After the accident, the Highway Traffic Control Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department quickly arrived at the scene, coordinated to clear the scene, take the victim to the hospital, and ensure traffic safety.
Previously, on April 21, a series of accidents on the Noi Bai - Lao Cai route (through Binh Xuyen district, Vinh Phuc ) also damaged 11 cars.
