In 2024, under the leadership of the District Party Committee, the People's Committee of Yen Son District, with determination and unity, overcame all difficulties and successfully completed and exceeded all 16 socio-economic development targets.
Total food production reached over 65,000 tons; 3,092 hectares of new forest were planted; industrial production value (at 2010 constant prices) was estimated at 2,980 billion VND; state budget revenue in the area was estimated at over 190 billion VND, reaching 105.6% of the plan; 2 communes achieved new rural standards; 32.7 km of roads were concreted; over 4,340 new jobs were created; the poverty rate decreased to 3.2%; average per capita income reached 53 million VND/person/year…
Based on the Provincial People's Committee's Decision on assigning targets for socio-economic development and state budget estimates for 2025, the District People's Committee assigns specific targets: Total state budget revenue exceeding 1,331 billion VND; investment in the construction and completion of the Yen Son town industrial cluster to attract investment; implementation of the biomass power project in Xuan Van commune and the Yen Son hydropower project in Quy Quan commune; attracting investment to develop infrastructure and business services at important tourist areas and destinations such as the Cao Lan ethnic cultural village in Dong Son hamlet; implementation of the "One Commune, One Product" program for the period 2021-2025; accelerating land clearance, especially for key projects, the Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang expressway project phase I, and resettlement projects; striving to complete the elimination of 100% of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district by the end of 2025…
At the conference, the District People's Committee launched the emulation movement for 2025 and signed an emulation agreement.
Representatives of the emulation blocs in Yen Son district signed an emulation agreement for 2025.
On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded the Emulation Flag to 6 collectives and Certificates of Merit to 6 collectives for outstanding achievements in the emulation clusters and groups under the People's Committee of Yen Son district; and awarded the title of Outstanding Collective to 1 collective for outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement in 2023. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee awarded the title of Provincial-level Emulation Fighter to 3 individuals for outstanding achievements in the patriotic emulation movement from 2021 to 2023.
