  • Vietnamese newspapers/magazines;
  • Foreign-language newspapers/magazines;
  • Broadcasting;

  • Digital products - multimedia;
  • Initiatives and products with valuable informational value for foreign relations.

Among them, the magazine Tri Thức - Znews was honored to win the Encouragement Award in the Vietnamese Newspaper/Magazine category with the Zlocal series by the team of authors Nguyen Thuc Hanh (Thuc Hanh), Bui Thi Phuong (Phuong Lam), Huynh Nguyen Hoang Linh (Linh Huynh), Le Thi Tuong Vi (Tuong Vi), Pham Quynh Danh (Quynh Danh) and Huynh Hoang Vu (Hoang Vu).

Zlocal (Vietnamese name: A truly "Vietnamese" day) explores cultural, culinary, and heritage experiences through the perspective of international tourists and expats living in Ho Chi Minh City.

Each article is a vivid glimpse into how foreigners discover and integrate with Vietnam. Through activities such as wearing the ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress), cooking Vietnamese food, or watching traditional opera, Zlocal contributes to promoting tourism, showcasing cultural identity, and creating a bridge of connection between tourists and local communities.

According to the organizers, the entries in this year's competition demonstrate the serious investment of professional and non-professional foreign affairs information teams both domestically and internationally; the professional quality has significantly improved, vividly reflecting the fields of politics, economics, culture, foreign affairs, human rights, international integration, and promoting the image of Vietnam and its people.

Many works demonstrate innovative thinking, creative perspectives, and the ability to convey positive and inspiring messages about Vietnam during its period of rapid development and deep integration.

In a previous interview with Tri Thức - Znews , Dr. Dương Đức Minh, Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Institute for Economic and Tourism Development Research (ITERD), stated that the series of articles not only focuses on "introducing" but also moves towards "practical experiences" of traditional culture.

"These experiences clearly demonstrate the modern movement of external communication, that is, the shift from 'telling stories about Vietnam' to 'living with Vietnam,' a fresh approach that aligns with the globalization trend of cultural identity," he said.
