Accordingly, the competition featured 13 outstanding teams from 12 countries and territories, including: Cambodia, China, Egypt, Hong Kong (China), India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Nepal, Thailand, and Vietnam. Host country Vietnam had two participating teams from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education.

The team from Hung Yen University of Technology and Education, champions of Robocon 2024 (domestic), will participate in the Asia- Pacific Robot Creativity Competition.

The Asia- Pacific Robot Creativity Competition, organized by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Association, is open to robotics-enthusiast students from countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region.

According to the organizers, with the theme "Harvest Day," the competition aims to honor the value of agriculture, especially rice cultivation on terraced fields, a distinctive feature of Vietnamese culture. Participating robots will perform tasks simulating the rice planting process, from sowing seedlings to harvesting.

The event is not only a competition, but also an opportunity for young people to exchange, learn and share experiences. In addition to the official matches, the organizers will organize many attractive sideline activities such as exchanging and sharing knowledge of programming control, building robots, and tours to the natural heritage of Ha Long Bay.

The entire competition at the Quang Ninh Provincial Sports Complex on August 25th will be broadcast live on VTV2, Vietnam Television, and livestreamed on the VTV2 Quality of Life Facebook social media platform.

According to Ms. Le Hai Anh, Acting Head of the Science and Education Department, Vietnam Television - the unit producing television content, the Science and Education Department has completed the script and fully prepared a team of reporters and editors to produce a live television program lasting 6 consecutive hours.

To prepare for the continuous and extended live broadcast, the team planned for documentary material about the 13 participating teams, with content interspersed between matches. The program was ensured to be continuous and engaging with modern dance performances. In addition, VTV's young and dynamic team of MCs, such as Tran Ngoc, Khanh Vy, Phi Linh, and Hong Phuc, will act as a bridge between the audience and the teams. The team also utilized augmented reality (AR) technology. This technology combines virtual elements into the real-world environment of the competition arena, creating a novel and interactive experience for television viewers.
