On the morning of March 9th, at Van Hien University (Binh Chanh campus), Tien Phong Newspaper organized the Red Sunday program "Donate blood to save lives - your life and mine" with the participation of 3,000 young people.

At the program, Associate Professor Tran Huy Hoang, Permanent Vice Rector of Van Hien University, shared that with the spirit of "Giving is forever," the university is always proud to be a pioneer in community activities. "Red Sunday" is a testament to the maturity and pioneering spirit of Van Hien students, young people who are always ready to dedicate their youth and intellect to serving society.
Journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, emphasized: Tien Phong Newspaper always dedicates its heart and resources to "Red Sunday" with the desire to further spread the humanitarian message of the program. He believes that each of us can become a "hero" through a small but extremely meaningful act – donating blood to save lives.
According to the Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong Newspaper, Red Sunday is a deeply humane charitable program held annually to donate warm drops of blood, igniting faith and hope for patients. Each drop of blood is not only a part of life, but also a bridge of love, contributing to building a united and compassionate community.
The 17th Red Sunday program in 2025 will be held from November 2024 to the end of March 2025 in many provinces and cities nationwide. It is expected that more than 100,000 people will participate and approximately 45,000 - 50,000 units of blood will be collected.
