Four cars were involved in a chain collision on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway section passing through Thanh Hoa province, causing localized traffic congestion.

According to information from the Highway Traffic Control Team No. 3 (Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security ), at approximately 3 PM on February 2nd (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), a multi-vehicle collision involving four cars occurred on the Mai Son - National Highway 45 expressway, heading from Thanh Hoa to Hanoi. The collision caused a localized traffic jam on the expressway.

The accident occurred in Thieu Quang commune, Thieu Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province.

Upon receiving the information, the officers of Highway Traffic Control Team No. 3 arrived at the scene, diverted traffic, and directed vehicles to take the exit onto National Highway 1A.

Authorities also dispatched a tow truck to handle the scene.

By approximately 4:20 PM, the traffic congestion on the route had been resolved, and traffic returned to normal.
