44% of female Youth Union officials were elected to the Executive Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, 15th term.

On the afternoon of December 14th, the first session of the 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, for the term 2025-2030, took place. The Congress proceeded to elect the new Executive Committee, with 16 female Youth Union officials (accounting for 44%) being elected to the Executive Committee.

Attending the Congress were representatives from the Central Committee of the Youth Union, provincial leaders, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province, local departments and agencies, along with 196 outstanding delegates representing more than 40,500 Youth Union members and young people throughout Lang Son province.

According to the report, during the period 2022-2025, under the close leadership and guidance of the Central Committee of the Youth Union and the Standing Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Party Committee, along with the close coordination of all levels and sectors, the Youth Union branches in the province overcame many difficulties and made efforts to effectively implement the goals and tasks of the Resolution of the Provincial Youth Union Congress for the 2022-2027 term.

Ms. Vi Thi Yen Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, on behalf of the Presidium of the Congress, delivered a speech presiding over the 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son Province.

Youth Union organizations at all levels have quickly streamlined their organizational structure, strongly reformed the content and methods of their activities, and focused on political propaganda and education. In addition, digital transformation in Youth Union activities has been accelerated, and volunteer youth teams have been established and effectively maintained to support the operation of the two-tiered local government model and to coordinate the deployment of the "Digital Front" platform at the grassroots level.

The delegates proceeded to register their attendance through the smart system.

Revolutionary action movements and youth support programs are organized in close alignment with real-life situations, meeting the political objectives of the province, while also creating a positive impact on the people.

Efforts to expand the united front and mobilize young people continue to receive attention; grassroots Youth Union organizations are consolidated and developed steadily. The number of new members and outstanding members recommended to the Party is increasing, making an important contribution to Party building and strengthening the political system to become increasingly clean and strong.

Women and ethnic minorities make up a large proportion of the delegates at the 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province.

The Congress proceeded with the election of the Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province for the 15th term and the delegation of Lang Son province to attend the 13th National Congress of the Youth Union.

The Congress elected the 15th Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 32 members to ensure work in all fields, including key Youth Union officials, young people, and representatives of different genders and ethnic minorities.

Among them, 16 female Youth Union officials (accounting for 44%) were elected.

The congress also elected 14 delegates to attend the 13th National Congress of the Youth Union, for the term 2026-2031.

The congress took place in a joyful, enthusiastic, and aspirational atmosphere.

The first session of the 15th Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Lang Son province, term 2025-2030, also included the following tasks: Review report of the Executive Committee of the Lang Son Provincial Youth Union, 14th term; presentations, discussions, and emulation and reward activities.

Delegates of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of Lang Son province offered incense at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and the statue of hero Hoang Van Thu in Dong Kinh and Luong Van Tri wards, Lang Son province.

Earlier that morning, the delegation attending the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Congress of Lang Son province held a ceremony to offer incense at the statue of President Ho Chi Minh and the statue of hero Hoang Van Thu in the locality.
