Deliver sound directly to the ear.
Headphones also help listeners immerse themselves in sound by pushing sound directly into their ears. But in 2015, Dr. Marcos Simón had a different idea while working at the Sound Research Institute at the University of Southampton: using computer vision technology to deliver sound directly to the user's ears.

Dr. Simón and Audioscenic, the company he founded with his colleague Professor Filippo Fazi, have now integrated their technology into a commercial product called the Razer Leviathan V2 Pro.
Designed primarily for gamers, it features a speaker array located below the screen and a subwoofer at floor level. It also includes two spatial sound modes (Virtual Headset and Virtual Speaker), using a small camera on the speaker array to track listener movement and adjust output accordingly. The volume and balance of the five speakers in this device are subtly adjusted to ensure listeners always receive optimal stereo sound.
In Virtual Headset mode, stereo sound is simulated, making it feel incredibly realistic as if you were listening with headphones. Meanwhile, the Virtual Speakers feature delivers a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound experience. The Razer Leviathan V2 Pro is currently priced at £399.99.

The AI-powered face-tracking feature “controls” the 3D images and videos delivered to the eyes so they remain in focus regardless of the viewing angle. It can display 2D images in 3D mode by accurately predicting their depth, and its built-in camera can capture 3D images, but the resulting images and videos can be shared and viewed in 2D on standard devices. ZTE's Nubia Pad 3D is currently selling for £1,239.

It silently tracks heart activity (via an electrocardiogram), blood pressure, oxygen levels, respiratory rate, temperature, sleep, physical activity, and more.
Those numbers, whether collected directly or via AI, will be transferred to Apple's or Google's Health app. With a £9.99/month subscription, you'll receive doctor reviews based on the data the app sends. MymonX is currently sold for £249.

An Acer subsidiary, Xplova, has produced a tech-packed electric bike called Ebii. It works in conjunction with an app (ebiiGO), which uses AI modeling to provide additional power based on your riding conditions and technique.

It also includes a collision detection system, automatic lighting (front, rear, and sides), and security features (automatic locking upon departure), making it the perfect urban commuter vehicle. The Ebii is currently priced at €1,999.
The camera automatically tracks the subject.
Previously, cameras needed our assistance to track a subject. But now, the AI-powered processor in the Sony a7R can recognize the presence of a human face (or body) and help maintain focus.
