Speaking to Tuoi Tre Online on the afternoon of July 9th, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hong, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Da Nang City, said that the information system and transmission lines operating the two-tiered government apparatus of Da Nang have been operating stably.
On July 9th, localities and departments throughout Da Nang City received approximately 1,400 applications (including 568 online applications).
Since the inception of the two-tiered government system, Da Nang has issued 71,000 accounts to officials and civil servants to carry out their duties.
In each ward and commune, at least two officials are assigned to handle any issues arising related to the information technology system. 100% of officials and leaders have been issued digital signatures to process documents.
To ensure the smooth operation of the information system, network providers have also increased the transmission speed to communes and wards by 2-3 times.

To date, the online meeting system between communes in Da Nang, between communes and the city, and between the city and central government agencies has been fully connected.
Administrative agencies have integrated 100% of eligible administrative procedures for online provision. In communes, equipment to serve citizens and officials has been fully provided.
After merging with Quang Nam, Da Nang City has 93 wards and communes and one special zone (Hoang Sa).
From the very first day of operation until now, under the guidance of specialized agencies, the handling of administrative procedures in the units has been smooth, and all arising issues have been promptly addressed.
