On the morning of October 5th, the People's Committee of Thai Binh City held a meeting to hear reports on the socio-economic development situation in the first nine months of the year and the key tasks for the last three months of 2023.

The leaders of the City People's Committee delivered speeches at the meeting.

In the first nine months of the year, the City People's Committee directed the completion of 46 out of 50 tasks in the 2023 work program. The total value of production is estimated at nearly 36,500 billion VND, an increase of 7.84% compared to the same period last year, accounting for 25.8% of the total production value of the entire province. Total state budget revenue in the area is estimated at nearly 1,900 billion VND, reaching 66.6% of the projected target, an increase of 41.24% compared to the same period last year. Planning, investment procedures, and construction progress of projects have been accelerated. Comprehensive results have been achieved in the cultural and social fields. Administrative procedure reform has been promoted.

Representatives from the City People's Committee Office reported on the socio -economic results for the first nine months of the year.

In the final months of the year, the city will continue to focus on supporting and resolving difficulties and obstacles within its authority to ensure efficient production and business operations. It will strengthen measures to improve the investment and business environment, and resolutely implement tasks and solutions for revenue collection. It will also direct efforts to ensure urban order, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation. Furthermore, it will accelerate the implementation of urban beautification and development projects. Finally, it will focus on the recruitment and conscription of citizens into the military in 2024. The value of production in the construction industry has experienced high growth.
