According to the General Department of Taxation, after nearly 5 months of implementation, most gasoline retail outlets nationwide have now issued electronic invoices for each sale.
As of March 31, 2024, 15,931 retail gasoline stations nationwide had implemented electronic invoice issuance for each sale, reaching 99.97%.
To recognize outstanding achievements in the management and use of electronic invoices for the business and retail of petroleum products, the Minister of Finance awarded Certificates of Merit to 4 individuals and 7 collectives under the General Department of Taxation, including the Director General of the General Department of Taxation, Mai Xuan Thanh, and the Hanoi City Tax Department.
Regarding the cumulative implementation of electronic invoices from the start of deployment until the end of Q1 2024, the number of electronic invoices received and processed by tax authorities is estimated at 7.12 billion invoices, of which 2 billion invoices have codes and more than 5.12 billion invoices do not have codes.
As of the end of the first quarter of 2024, 50,303 businesses had registered to use electronic invoices generated from cash registers, with the total number of invoices generated exceeding 252.8 million.
Regarding the results of the implementation of e-tax on mobile devices (Etax Mobile), since its launch, there have been 830,974 downloads and installations of the application, and 1,272,715 transactions through commercial banks with a total successfully paid amount of 3,148 billion VND.
