Agribank offers 50,000 billion VND in incentives to serve production and business from only 3%

From now until the program reaches its target scale, customers can access interest rates that are 2% lower per year than the floor interest rate for business loans corresponding to each term offered by Agribank .

On March 28th, the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (Agribank) announced a 50,000 billion VND short-term loan program for individual customers engaged in production and business activities, with interest rates starting from just 3% per year. Specifically, from now until the program reaches its target, customers can access interest rates up to 2.0% lower per year than the floor interest rate for production and business loans corresponding to each term as stipulated by Agribank from time to time. This preferential program targets individual customers borrowing short-term capital for production and business activities. Specifically, rates start from 3% per year for loans up to 3 months; from 3.5% per year for loans from 3 to 6 months; and from 4% per year for loans from 6 to 12 months. Customers are eligible for loans if they fully meet the current lending conditions of Agribank and the program's regulations. In early March, Agribank allocated 20,000 billion VND in short-term preferential credit for large enterprises with interest rates up to 2.0%/year lower than the normal lending rate. Some products for corporate customers include: time deposits, payroll services, bill payments, automated investments, electronic tax payments, trade finance services, foreign exchange trading, corporate credit cards, and e-banking.
