Impressive 3D Mapping movie recreates the history of Da Nang

(QNO) - On the evening of April 29, the first 3D Mapping film screening took place at the Da Nang Museum with the theme "The Story of Da Nang".

The 3D Mapping film “The Story of Da Nang” uses specialized equipment to project light directly onto the surface of the 42 Bach Dang building, combined with sound to create a 3D Mapping effect.

According to the leader of Da Nang Museum, this is the first time this technology has been shown outdoors in Da Nang City with a combination of sound - light - vivid visual effects, to recreate the story of history - culture - the desire for continuous development of Da Nang City.

“The Story of Da Nang” consists of 3 consecutive parts, introducing the history of formation and development of Da Nang City throughout historical periods.

Part 1 with the theme "The Origin of Da Nang" recreates the process of formation of the land, residents and historical developments from prehistoric and early historical periods to ancient and medieval periods, associated with ancient kingdoms, especially the cultural imprints of Sa Huynh, Champa, and Dai Viet.

Part 2 "The Epic of Struggle" recreates the long struggle of the army and people of Da Nang against Western colonialism led by France (1858 - 1954) and the resistance war against the US (1954 - 1975); at the same time, it recreates the process of formation and development of Da Nang city.

Part 3 "Rising" recreates the construction and development of Da Nang City after the liberation on March 29, 1975; the marks and achievements when it became a centrally-run city in 1997.

Especially in the period when the city is transforming in the era of integration and development, becoming one of the leading economic , cultural and social centers of the country.

The first two screenings (7:30-8:30 PM and 9:00-10:00 PM) last night attracted a large number of people and tourists. This activity will continue on the evenings of April 30 and May 1 to serve the public.
