This event is part of the fundraising campaign “Sowing Seeds of Kindness” launched by Vingroup from September 19 to September 30, aiming to mobilize the strength of the entire community, contributing to speeding up the process of rebuilding lives, “sowing” seeds for a bright future for people after the flood. Each seed sown corresponds to a donation of 100,000 VND.

The charity music night gathered the leading artists of Vietnam today such as People's Artist Tu Long, Bang Kieu, Tung Duong, Binz, SooBin, Rhymastic, Cuong Seven, Kien Ung, Tien Tien, Thanh Duy, Ha Le... Here, many new emotional works aimed at the love of compatriots such as "Hoa Ban", "Nguoi Viet"... were performed for the first time on a big stage.

In particular, the program auctioned two products: a shirt signed by 20 artists participating in the program and the painting "Resurrection" by artist Vang Hai Hung.

The painting "Revival" depicts the natural landscape of Bat Xat mountains and forests ( Lao Cai ) with beautiful trees, flowers and leaves under the warm sunlight of dawn, peeking out the red roof of the new school. The work was done by artist Vang Hai Hung and children from Bat Xat Secondary and High School (Lao Cai) to convey the message: After the rain, all things will rise again to grow and develop, with a stronger vitality.

In addition to the charity music night, many other meaningful activities were held on September 28-29 and received the support of the community. The first is the "Sowing the Seeds of Love" fair with more than 20 booths selling handmade items, DIY workshops, valuable used items, drinks, specialties, car care products and volunteer medical examination areas... with a commitment to contribute from 50% to 100% of revenue to the fund.

The "Growing Love" Run and Walk attracted more than 1,500 walkers and more than 10,000 runners. All proceeds received during the registration period and on the day of the event will be donated directly to the fundraising effort.

As of 10 p.m. on September 29, more than 8,000 kind-hearted people have sown seeds with the program with a total donation of more than 21 billion VND. This number is expected to continue to increase. All contributions will be used by Vingroup in coordination with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees in localities to restore damaged schools, supporting teachers and students to quickly return to normal teaching and learning.

With the motto “Love is not waiting”, Thien Tam Fund (under Vingroup) has sown the first “seeds of kindness” in Lao Cai with the project “Reconstruction of the boarding area of Bat Xat Secondary and High School”. A 5-storey building with 30 spacious classrooms is being prepared to be built to welcome more than 500 students back to school.

In the next project, Thien Tam Fund will sponsor the construction of a new building with 8 classrooms and restore the damaged garage for 300 students of Tan Dong Primary and Secondary School (Tan Dong Commune, Tran Yen District, Yen Bai). After these two projects, the Organizing Committee of “Sowing Seeds of Thien Tam” will continue to survey areas that suffered heavy damage from recent natural disasters to promptly support many schools to return to normal operations.
