Notably, iOS 18.6 will have a change for users in Europe. When installing apps from the app store or from the web, Apple will no longer display warnings about potential risks as before.

Instead, Apple has simply announced that user data will be managed by third-party developers and that some familiar App Store features will no longer be available, in compliance with the European Commission's request.

iPhone users can install iOS 18.6 by going to Settings -> General -> Software Update. This new update is compatible with all devices that already support iOS 18.5.

Alongside iOS 18.6, Apple also released iPadOS 18.6 and macOS Sequoia 15.6. According to the company's support document, these new updates will address dozens of serious security vulnerabilities, so users are advised to install them immediately.

Apple emphasizes that software updates are one of the most important measures to maintain the security of its products, and recommends that users update their devices to the latest version to avoid risks from security vulnerabilities.
