In both phases of the program, AstraZeneca Vietnam has positively impacted more than 100,000 adolescents in 29 schools and universities with the following rates: 81% of adolescents participated in raising awareness of risk factors, 79% raised awareness of 3 types of non-communicable diseases and more, 63% applied healthier nutritional behaviors.

In addition, the program "Partnership for Sustainability and Resilience of Vietnam's Health System" (PHSSR) in Vietnam in 2 phases 2020-2022, 2022-2025 has also been implemented by AstraZeneca Vietnam in cooperation with the Institute of Health Strategy and Policy - Ministry of Health. The program is implemented with many outstanding purposes such as enhancing financial sustainability for Vietnam's health system through training programs to improve capacity to apply "Health Technology Assessment" (HTA), research and workshops on health financing solutions/risk sharing (IVS/MEA/RSS) and technology transfer for drug and vaccine production in Vietnam (CMO).

In addition, AstraZeneca Vietnam also demonstrates its commitment to sustainable development through carbon reduction projects, typically the new office model in Hanoi designed according to LEED gold sustainability standards, integrating energy-saving solutions and optimizing workspaces to minimize climate impact.

AstraZeneca Vietnam also works closely with the Ministry of Health and industry partners to promote proactive prevention and early diagnosis for more than 1 million patients nationwide to help improve treatment outcomes for non-communicable diseases with the highest disease burden and mortality rates, helping to maximize healthcare resources and reduce the impact of care on the environment.
