According to the Organizing Committee, the number of entries is not only large in quantity but also diverse in genre: from investigative reports, portraits, character stories, in-depth analysis to longform, podcasts, multimedia. This shows that the press is increasingly using many modern forms to reach readers, making information about HIV/AIDS more accessible, intuitive and easier to receive.

The Organizing Committee respectfully invites delegates and readers to watch the program live at 8:00 p.m. on December 10, 2025 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, or on VTV9 channel and digital platforms of Health & Life Newspaper.

The jury, consisting of journalism experts, health communication experts, representatives of the Ministry of Health and people with extensive experience in the field of HIV/AIDS, conducted the final round of judging. Each work was evaluated according to the following criteria: Accuracy, humanistic value, discovery, communication effectiveness and social influence. Many judges said that this year, choosing the outstanding work was not easy because the quality was consistent and many articles made a strong impression.

The entries provide a multidimensional picture of HIV/AIDS in Vietnam.

The entries present a multi-dimensional picture of HIV/AIDS in Vietnam today: the remarkable advances in medicine, changes in prevention and treatment policies; the efforts of grassroots medical staff and especially the journey of people who have overcome stigma to rebuild their lives and live useful lives...

Highlights include reports on community groups supporting high-risk people to access PrEP; stories of patients who have consistently adhered to ARV treatment for decades; and stories of doctors and nurses who work day and night to save the lives of HIV-infected patients in difficult conditions.

Many stories are touching because of the authenticity and the silent contributions behind them. They are mothers who gave birth to healthy children thanks to treatment to prevent mother-to-child transmission; collaborators who went to each residential area to promote testing; doctors who silently devoted their whole lives to HIV patients, considering them as relatives. It is these perspectives that help readers understand that the fight against HIV/AIDS today is not only about medicine, but also a story of responsibility, humanity and the will to live.

The 'National Press Award on HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control' is organized with a rich and professional award system. The entries are divided into 3 groups, including: Written works, photographic works, and television - multimedia groups.

Each group will have 04 prize levels, a total of 12 main prizes, including: 03 First Prizes (each prize worth 20 million VND), 03 Second Prizes (12 million VND/prize), 03 Third Prizes (8 million VND/prize) and 03 Consolation Prizes (5 million VND/prize).

In addition, the Organizing Committee also awarded 05 more "Red Ribbon" prizes, each worth 3 million VND, to recognize works with humane messages, strongly spreading the spirit of supporting people infected with HIV/AIDS, encouraging the tireless efforts of individuals and groups on the front line of HIV/AIDS prevention and control.

The list of winning works will be announced and honored at the Award Ceremony taking place on December 10, 2025 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace, broadcast live on VTV9 and platforms of Health & Life Newspaper.

The event promises to be a night to honor the press's persistent contributions in Vietnam's journey towards the goal of "no discrimination, no AIDS" by 2030.

The hundreds of entries this year are not only a professional effort, but also a reminder that behind every news story and every photo is a network of people who are working day and night to maintain public health. And the press, with its special power of dissemination, will continue to contribute to writing that humane story.
