According to information from the People's Committee of Phu Tho province, Ms. Bui Thi Thu Hang was elected as Chairwoman of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee with 100% of the votes.

Previously, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Tho province decided to accept and appoint Mr. Nguyen Hai, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, to the position of Director of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.

At the recent conference, the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee implemented the personnel work process, introduced personnel to the Central Party Secretariat to appoint Mr. Luong Hoang Giang, Political Commissar of Phu Tho Provincial Military Command and Mr. Nguyen Minh Tien, Chief Prosecutor of Phu Tho Provincial People's Procuracy to join the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term.

The report at the conference showed that Phu Tho province's economy this year is estimated to increase by over 10.5% compared to 2024, ranking 4th in the country and highest among the Northern Midlands and Mountains provinces.

The scale of GRDP at current prices is estimated to reach over VND 409,000 billion, an increase of VND 53,200 billion compared to 2024. The average GRDP value per capita will reach over VND 110 million, an increase of 13.8% compared to 2024.

Total state budget revenue in 2025 is estimated to reach more than 54,000 billion VND, an increase of 119.9% ​​compared to the estimate assigned by the People's Council of Phu Tho province, exceeding the planned target. Disbursement of public investment capital is estimated to reach 34,000 billion VND, equal to 95% of the total planned capital, reaching 182% compared to the capital plan assigned by the Prime Minister.

Labor, poverty reduction, and social security policies have been implemented promptly and fully by Phu Tho. The number of people with jobs is estimated at about 57,400 (112.5% ​​of the plan); the poverty rate is estimated to decrease to 2.75%.

Phu Tho province has completed the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses with 10,801 houses.

Phu Tho province was established on the basis of merging three provinces: Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc, Hoa Binh, and came into operation on July 1. The province has a natural area of ​​nearly 9,400km2, a population of more than 4 million people, and 148 commune-level administrative units.
