Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh is the Chairwoman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Council.

Attending the meeting were Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee; on the side of Dong Nai province, there were Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council; Mr. Thai Bao, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Vo Tan Duc, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of the committees, delegates of the Provincial People's Council and local departments and branches.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Anh, Deputy Head of the Delegation Affairs Committee of the National Assembly Standing Committee, announced the Resolution of the National Assembly Standing Committee appointing the Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Heads of the Committees of the Dong Nai Provincial People's Council for the 2021-2026 term.

Specifically, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, holds the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Mr. Tran Van My, member of the Provincial Party Committee, holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Thuyen holds the position of Head of the Legal Committee, Mr. Huynh Viet Cuong holds the position of Head of the Economic - Budget Committee; Mr. Dieu Dieu holds the position of Head of the Ethnic Committee; Ms. Huynh Ngoc Kim Mai holds the position of Head of the Cultural - Social Committee.

The conference also passed many important resolutions on the establishment of the Provincial People's Council Committees for the 10th term, 2021-2026; establishment of specialized agencies under the Provincial People's Committee after the merger; establishment of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Dong Nai province.

Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Ton Ngoc Hanh said that Dong Nai province has a large economic scale, population, and natural area, and is expected to become a new growth pole of the country. The arrangement of administrative units at the provincial and communal levels is a historic step with long-term strategic significance, creating opportunities to innovate management thinking, organization methods, and serve the people more effectively. With new momentum, scale, and resources, Dong Nai Provincial People's Council will continue to promote its role and position, improve the quality of its operations, and effectively contribute to the overall development of the province in the coming time.

The Chairman of the People's Council of Dong Nai province requested the delegates to promote the spirit of solidarity, intelligence, and responsibility, worthy of being elected representatives representing the will and legitimate aspirations of the people, focusing on discussing and resolving important issues, contributing to the successful completion of the Provincial Party Resolution in 2025 and the 2021-2026 term.
