In his opening speech, Mr. Vuong Duy Bien, Vice President of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, emphasized the special significance of this year's Creative Camp. The 2025 Literary and Arts Creative Camp is an annual program to support and encourage authors from ethnic minorities and local artists to develop literary and artistic creation. We chose Cao Bang as the destination because Cao Bang is the origin of the Vietnamese revolution, a place with majestic and lyrical mountains and rivers, and a place that preserves cultural traditions, imbued with the cultural identity of ethnic minorities in the diverse cultural community of Vietnamese ethnic groups; a source of inspiration not only because of its natural beauty but also because we want artists to directly feel the rhythm of life and the breath of a land that is striving to rise and change every day, especially in the context of the Central Government having just issued new strategic and breakthrough Resolutions. He also expressed his belief and hope that, through practical experiences, field trips, and exchanges with the people, artists will find new and rich materials to create good works about the land and people of Cao Bang, reflecting the national spirit, praising the love of the homeland in the context of integration and development, contributing to the field of literature and art in particular and culture in general.

Next, Comrade Hoang Hong Dieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee for Propaganda and Mass Mobilization, gave a congratulatory speech to the Creative Camp and welcomed the artists who came to Cao Bang. He gave a general introduction and overview of all aspects of culture, tourism, history, the potential and advantages of Cao Bang, the leadership of the local Party Committee and government of Cao Bang in the past time and some major tasks in the coming time so that the delegates and artists could grasp some main features of Cao Bang and hoped that the authors and artists would penetrate into reality, feel and create works of high value in terms of ideological and artistic content, expressing the natural beauty, soul and customs of the ethnic groups of Cao Bang.

Comrade Hoang Hong Dieu, Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission, delivered a welcome speech.

At the opening ceremony, a number of delegates and artists representing localities participating in the Creative Camp gave speeches, sharing their feelings and emotions when coming to the land and people of Cao Bang.

Within the framework of the creative camp, artists and delegates will have a rich and practical tour schedule at many historical sites, famous landscapes and traditional craft villages of Cao Bang such as: Pac Bo National Special Relic Site (Truong Ha Commune), Tran Hung Dao Forest National Special Relic Site (Tam Kim Commune), Ban Gioc Waterfall and Nguom Ngao Cave (Dam Thuy Commune), Phuc Sen Blacksmith Village (Quang Uyen Commune),... All are precious materials, waiting for the hands and minds of artists to take flight and create works.

The writing camp will run for 7 days and will end on December 10, 2025.
