One pig-tailed macaque has been handed over to Bach Ma National Park.

HNN.VN - According to information from the People's Committee of Thuy Xuan Ward, on October 24, at the Medicinal Herb Garden - Cu Chanh 2 Residential Group, people discovered and captured a stray pig-tailed macaque.

Immediately after receiving the information, the People's Committee of Thuy Xuan Ward directed specialized forces to coordinate with the Central Forest Protection Unit to go to the scene to receive and check the health condition of the monkey. At the same time, they transported and handed it over to the Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Development Center of Bach Ma National Park for care and release back into its natural environment according to regulations.

The timely and responsible actions of the people and the coordination of functional forces have contributed to protecting wildlife, preserving biodiversity, and maintaining the natural ecological environment in the ward.
