“Vessel of Hatred continues the grim story that began in Diablo IV, as players seek to uncover the fate of the ultimate villain Mephisto and his diabolical plans for Sanctuary. To do so, players will visit a new region from Diablo IV called Nahantu. There will be new ways to play, new villains to slay, and a brand new Class never before seen in the Diablo universe,” said a Blizzard representative.

Blizzard also said it would reveal more details about the expansion in the summer. The publisher also said that in the not-too-distant future, Season 3 of Diablo IV will open a weekly challenge called The Gauntlet, where players compete to rank up in their Class.

Also according to this publisher, starting next week, Blizzard will introduce 5 unique Rings, dedicated to each class, allowing players to exploit the power of Season of the Malignant.

Then, on December 5, the Occultist “preview” feature will be available in Diablo IV. This will allow players to preview the results of certain “crafting” functions before making a decision.

Also on December 5, Diablo launched the 6-week "Abattoir of Zir" event for players who have reached level 100 to destroy Uber Duriel and some other challenges of the Season of Blood.
