'Impressive' achievements of excellent university valedictorians graduating in 2023

Among the 96 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in Hanoi in 2023, there are those who achieved perfect scores in their studies and training and had articles published in prestigious international journals.

The Hanoi Youth Union has just announced a list of 96 excellent valedictorians graduating from universities and academies in Hanoi in 2023, which will be honored by Hanoi City on October 10.

The excellent valedictorians honored are students who graduated from universities and academies with impressive achievements in studying and training. Many excellent valedictorians are party members, “5 Good Students” at all levels, are examples of overcoming difficulties, have scientific research works, topics, initiatives, practical and effective solutions that have won domestic and international awards.

Valedictorian Tran Anh Ngoc (graduated from Auditing, Institute of Accounting and Auditing, National Economics University) with a total GPA of 4.0/4.0;   Excellent overall training score.

Ngoc's topic won second prize in the Ministry-level Student Scientific Research Competition for the 2020-2021 school year; first prize in the School-level Student Scientific Research Competition for the 2020-2021 school year.

Ngoc is the co-author of 3 scientific articles published in the International Journal IJSRC , Journal of Commercial Science and Journal of Asia-Pacific Economics.

Giang has achieved many achievements such as: 1st runner-up in the 2022 Student Ideal Contest - National Economics University Student Association; Top 10 in the 2022 Path to Becoming a Strategic Leader Contest, winning an internship at EY Vietnam from the 3rd year of university.

Giang won the second prize in the 2022 School-level Student Scientific Research Award; the consolation prize in the 2021 School-level Student Scientific Research Award; the consolation prize in the 2022 Olympic competition on Marxist-Leninist science and Ho Chi Minh thought of the National Economics University.

Giang is the co-author of an article published in the October 2021 issue of the Journal of Economics and Business ; and the co-author of an article published in the proceedings of the 15th International Conference on Socio-Economic and Environmental Issues in Development - ICSEED 2022, organized by the National Economics University and Khon Kaen University (Thailand).

Giang is also the co-author of an article published in the proceedings of the 2022 National Scientific Conference on Labor and Employment in Vietnam in the New Context, organized by the National Economics University.

Of the 96 excellent valedictorians, there are 43 males (44.8%), 53 females (55.2%); there are 85 valedictorians graduating from public schools and 11 valedictorians graduating from private schools.

76 valedictorians (accounting for 79.2%) have excellent academic results (≥ 9.0/10 according to the year-based training system and ≥ 3.6/4.0 according to the credit-based training system); 20 valedictorians (accounting for 20.8%) have good academic results (≥ 8.0/10 according to the year-based training system and ≥ 3.2/4.0 according to the credit-based training system). There are 41 excellent valedictorians who are party members; 54 excellent valedictorians who are Youth Union and Association officials.
