Ensure smooth handover of examination tasks

On February 18, the Traffic Police Department, the Department of Transport and the Hai Duong Provincial Police held a meeting to agree on some contents of the handover of the task of testing and issuing driving licenses. The purpose is to ensure that the process of transferring the task of testing and issuing driving licenses from the Department of Transport to the Hai Duong Provincial Police takes place smoothly and on schedule. The Hai Duong Traffic Police force is ready to carry out the new task.

Until the official announcement, the Hai Duong Department of Transport will continue to perform its duties, receive documents and related procedures as usual, creating maximum convenience for the people. During the handover process, it is necessary to ensure that the people's administrative procedures continue smoothly, without interruption or discontinuity.

Previously, implementing the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Transport at the meeting on February 11 on preparing to hand over the task of state management of testing and granting driving licenses, the Vietnam Road Administration (Ministry of Transport) sent a document to the Department of Transport of provinces and centrally-run cities to prepare to hand over the task of testing and granting driving licenses from the Ministry of Transport to the Ministry of Public Security.
