With 80 pages, the 80th Anniversary issue of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper is a flow and journey through each historical intersection, with the appearance of famous politicians, scientists , writers and journalists, bringing readers extremely unique spiritual food, associated with the pride of the newspaper named after Uncle Ho.
That is the heroic tradition of a newspaper honored to be named and introduced by Uncle Ho. President Luong Cuong in his Letter to the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper wrote : Over the past 80 years of establishment and development, the Newspaper has always maintained its principles and purposes, promptly reflecting the breath of agricultural, farmer, rural and environmental life; spreading good models, good practices, advanced examples; well performing the mission of propagating and disseminating the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; accompanying the Agriculture and Environment sector in the cause of national construction and development.

It is the continuing journey of many generations of journalists associated with Uncle Ho's advice, associated with the 80-year journey of Independence - Freedom - Happiness of the Vietnamese people, affirmed through the writings of Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha, the affection of Vice Chairman of the National Assembly Le Minh Hoan, the suggestions, instructions and orientations of Minister of Agriculture and Environment Tran Duc Thang, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Phan Xuan Thuy, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association Le Quoc Minh, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh...

The 80-year journey of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper is a journey of sowing seeds, cultivating aspirations, beliefs, and knowledge. In that call to land are the meanings of the name, mission, and value of the Newspaper for the journey of the country through the interpretation of historian Duong Trung Quoc about the two words "Inch of Land". Along with that is the appearance of portraits of characters associated with the tradition and history of the Newspaper such as: Late Minister Nghiem Xuan Yem, writer Anh Duc, writer Son Tung, writer Tran Kim Thanh, scholar Nguyen Hien Le, former Minister Ta Quang Ngoc, former Minister Pham Khoi Nguyen, former Minister Nguyen Xuan Cuong...
They, directly or indirectly, have been more or less a part of the flow of Tac Dat Newspaper - Agriculture and Environment.

The crystallization of Vietnamese values in that 80-year journey is the beauty of knowledge and intelligence of great, illustrious minds such as: Professor Nguyen Van Chien, Professor Phan Phai, Professor Truong Dinh Du, Professor Nguyen Xien, Professor Bui Huy Dap, Professor Duong Hong Dat, the late Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Cong Tan, Professor Dao The Tuan, Professor Nguyen Van Luat... Through the memories and perspectives of their friends and students (who are also professors and associate professors), we will be able to somewhat visualize and feel the portraits of intellectuals whose contributions and achievements have gone far beyond the space of the Agriculture and Environment sector.
Honoring and expressing gratitude to our ancestors is not only a good gesture but also helps build the foundation for today's generation to move forward firmly.

Also in the special issue commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper is the article “ People, Village Stories, Country Stories” with sections on 8 Vietnamese villages across the country. Vietnamese villages, imbued with the historical values of a nation and the Vietnamese soul, where the roots of Vietnamese culture are preserved, are being renewed and integrated every day but still retain the original values of the village identity.
In the 80-year flow of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper, there are dialogues of witnesses of time, bringing contemplation and concern with current events and real life such as Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee Tran Tien Dung "desire for the people's hearts", interesting conversation with former Minister of Planning and Investment Vo Hong Phuc about memories of a time...
In particular, the 80th anniversary issue of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper introduces to readers for the first time the essay "My Mother" by writer Nguyen Ngoc. This is a special essay that the writer dedicated to readers of the Agriculture and Environment Newspaper. Along with that is the contemplation with "Remembering Nguyen Tran Bat" by Ta Duy Anh and Da Ngan with "The Smell of Warmth and Prosperity"...

Throughout the special issue of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper are traditional values, a great and precious heritage to reach new horizons. The mission of the green era with the dream of Mr. Doan Nguyen Duc (Bau Duc), Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hoang Anh Gia Lai Joint Stock Company. The "foolishness" of Dr. Nguyen Thanh My, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Mylan Group. The sincere sharing of international friends: EU Ambassador to Vietnam, Norwegian Ambassador, representatives of FAO, ILRI, ACAR... All together create a continuous flow called Agriculture and Environment Newspaper.

Finally, as in the article “A rendezvous for the future journey” by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thach, Editor-in-Chief of Agriculture and Environment Newspaper: 80 years, looking back and moving forward , Agriculture and Environment Newspaper has absolutely no feeling of insecurity. Because, we have a lasting belief on the launching pad of sophisticated and understanding Vietnamese values.
Entering the new era, Agriculture and Environment Newspaper will continue to carry out the mission of cultivating knowledge, being a solution-creating-companion press agency, so that every inch of Agriculture and Environment land will be the golden inches of life.
We respectfully introduce and invite readers to read the special issue "Inch of Land: 80 years of cultivating knowledge" which was released nationwide on December 3, 2025.
