26 gamblers caught red-handed.

On March 8th, information from the Thanh Hoa Provincial Police Department indicated that the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Province had just caught 26 gamblers red-handed gambling at the private residence of Tran Van Dung (52 years old, residing in Vinh Loc Town, Vinh Loc District, Thanh Hoa Province).

The suspects have been arrested.

Earlier, at around 3:30 PM on March 6th, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police raided the house of Tran Van Dung, catching Dung and 25 other suspects red-handed gambling using the dice-shaking method.

At the gambling den, the police seized a total of 242 million VND, along with many other items related to gambling and organizing gambling activities.

Initially, the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police determined that among the 26 suspects, 9 resided in Vinh Loc District, 6 in Ha Trung District (Thanh Hoa), 4 in Tho Xuan District (Thanh Hoa), 3 in Thach Thanh District (Thanh Hoa), 2 in Bim Son Town (Thanh Hoa), 1 in Yen Dinh District (Thanh Hoa), and one in Yen Bai City (Yen Bai Province).

At the police station, the suspects confessed that the gambling den was organized by Trinh Dinh Tai (53 years old), Trinh Viet Linh (34 years old, both residing in Vinh Phuc commune, Vinh Loc district) and Tran Van Dung (the homeowner), who were also the gamblers.

The case is currently being investigated by the Criminal Police Department of Thanh Hoa Provincial Police.
