Mr. Thien and Nam Dinh Club were rewarded right before the big match against Hanoi FC.

On February 1st, the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province issued a decision to award certificates of merit to: 1 collective and 1 individual for their significant contributions, sponsorship, and support in helping Nam Dinh Club win the V-League championship in the 2023-2024 season; and 1 collective and 10 individuals for their outstanding achievements, contributing to Nam Dinh Club winning the V-League championship in the 2023-2024 season.

The accompanying bonus for each awarded group is 7,020,000 VND, and for each awarded individual is 3,510,000 VND, drawn from the reward fund of Nam Dinh province.

Accordingly, one collective and one individual have made significant contributions, provided sponsorship, and supported Nam Dinh Club in winning the V-League championship title in the 2023-2024 season: Xuan Thien Group Joint Stock Company (collective) and Mr. Nguyen Van Thien, Chairman of Xuan Thien Group Joint Stock Company (individual).

Foreign player Hendrio was commended by the People's Committee of Nam Dinh province.

One team and ten individuals have achieved outstanding results, contributing to Nam Dinh FC winning the V-League championship in the 2023-2024 season: Nam Dinh FC (team); and the individuals: Mr. Vu Canh Tuan (Chairman of Nam Dinh FC); Mr. Nguyen Quoc Phong (CEO of Nam Dinh FC), Mr. Vu Hong Viet (Head Coach), Mr. Nguyen Trung Kien (Technical Director), Mr. Tran Nguyen Manh (Captain), Mr. To Van Vu (Vice Captain), Mr. Duong Thanh Hao (Vice Captain), Mr. Araujo Da Silva Hendrio (Foreign Player), Mr. Ly Cong Hoang Anh (Midfielder), Mr. Tran Van Cong (Midfielder).

Earlier, on the first day of the Lunar New Year 2025, the national team players currently playing for Nam Dinh Club received substantial rewards from Chairman Thien for their achievements at the 2024 AFF Cup. The three players were Nguyen Xuan Son, Nguyen Van Toan, and Nguyen Van Vi. To acknowledge their outstanding contributions, Club Chairman Nguyen Van Thien decided to award Nguyen Van Toan and Nguyen Van Vi 500 million VND each, while Nguyen Xuan Son received a luxury apartment in Hanoi worth over 1 million USD.

On February 5th, Nam Dinh FC faced strong opponent Hanoi FC in an early match of V-League Round 13 at Thien Truong Stadium. The home team was without Xuan Son due to injury treatment, while the visiting team was missing Hai Long and Thanh Chung due to accumulating three yellow cards, and Vu Dinh Hai due to a red card in the previous match.
