Baleba is on Bayern's radar.

According to Fichajes , the reigning Bundesliga champions see the Brighton starlet as a key part of their strategic plan to rejuvenate their midfield.

At 21, Baleba has quickly become one of the most sought-after talents in Europe, with his all-round, powerful and modern playing style. Although he has not made an official offer, Bayern are said to be closely monitoring his every move and are just waiting for the opportunity to make him the most expensive midfielder in the history of the Allianz Arena.

Baleba is currently under contract with Brighton until 2028 and is valued at around 40 million euros. However, the Premier League side are only willing to consider negotiations from 2026 with a starting price of up to 85 million euros. This puts Bayern in a difficult position, especially when Liverpool and Manchester City have both expressed interest.

MU also pursued Baleba but seemed to no longer be interested in the 2004-born player, as they had a more suitable target, Elliot Anderson of Nottingham Forest.

Bayern's special attention to Baleba stems from the uncertain future of Goretzka, whose contract expires next summer with no sign of a renewal. Baleba is the type of player that fits Bayern's philosophy. In addition to his youth, he has proven his ability in the harsh environment of the Premier League.

Although a deal is unlikely to happen in the winter, Bayern continue to monitor and evaluate Baleba as a long-term target.
