Closing ceremony of training courses on skills, expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious work in the city in 2024 (phase 2)

(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On the morning of September 27th, the To Hieu Political School, in coordination with the Department of Internal Affairs, held the closing ceremony for the training courses on skills, professional expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious affairs in the city in 2024 (batch 2). Attending the ceremony were: Mr. Nguyen Kim Pha, Principal of the To Hieu Political School; Ms. Dang Thi Phuong Lien, Deputy Head of the City Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Department; and representatives from the Religious Affairs Department and the Department of Internal Affairs.

The second phase of the 2024 training course on skills, professional expertise, and in-depth knowledge of religious affairs in the city, consisting of four classes, commenced on September 23, 2024, with over 200 participants. The course lasted five days, from September 23 to September 27, 2024. Most participants held university degrees or higher, and had at least intermediate-level political theory qualifications. Many of them currently hold leadership and management positions at the local level and within their respective organizations.

During the training course, participants studied 18 key topics related to beliefs and religions, such as: the Party's viewpoints, the State's policies and laws; Protestantism, Cao Dai, Catholicism, Buddhism; State management of beliefs and religions and handling religious hotspots... In addition, the class heard practical reports on some issues regarding the implementation of work to mobilize and unite religions in Hai Phong .

The lectures were all closely linked to vivid and rich practical examples, persuasive, offered feasible solutions, and shared skills in handling situations arising in state management of religion. During the sessions, the trainees also actively exchanged and discussed theoretical and practical issues, especially those facing religious and belief affairs in the city today.

At the end of the course, 240 students were recognized as having completed the course and awarded certificates by the Principal of To Hieu Political School.
