On the afternoon of August 19, a heavy rain suddenly poured down on the K7 dormitory area (Tay Bac University, Son La province). Residents and students were surprised to see a little boy sitting huddled on the seat of a motorbike parked on the side of the road, panicked and sobbing.
Seeing this, female student Lo Thi Ha and her two roommates quickly ran down and took the child to shelter from the rain in the dormitory. At the same time, they also wrote a message on a piece of paper to reassure the child's parents.

The girls changed the baby into dry clothes and played with him to help him feel less scared.
Sharing with VietNamNet reporter, Ha said: "Around 2 pm yesterday, it was raining very heavily, the baby was standing there sobbing continuously. My two friends and I ran out and saw the baby shaking and panicking, so we decided to take the baby inside immediately. We also tried to ask for the baby's name and address but the baby did not answer, probably because he was too scared."

About 50 minutes later, the child’s father came to pick up his child. According to the story, due to the nature of their work on the mountain, the parents had to travel far. When it rained heavily, the road was slippery, so it took a long time to return to pick up their child.
This heartwarming story, after being shared on social media, received thousands of interactions. Many people expressed sympathy for the difficult living situation of the little girl’s family and praised the quick and kind actions of the female students.
"In the sudden cold of the rain, it was human love that warmed everything," commented an account named Le Hanh.
