Hospital 199 meets the standard of "Good clinical practice"

DNO - Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security) has just been assessed by the Appraisal Council of the Ministry of Health to meet the requirements of "Good Clinical Practice" (GCP) according to Circular No. 29/2018/TT-BYT of the Ministry of Health.

The review board comprehensively assessed the staff, facilities, quality management system and operations of the Ethics Council in biomedical research at Hospital 199.

At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Ngo Quang, Director of the Department of Science, Technology and Training, Chief of Office of the National Ethics Council, concluded that Hospital 199 meets GCP requirements.

Accordingly, the unit is allowed to conduct clinical trials with drug groups including chemical drugs, biological products, traditional medicines and herbal medicines, applied in phases 2, 3 and 4 of clinical trials.
