Hai Duong Children's Hospital is treating 46 children with Covid-19 in the respiratory and infectious diseases departments. The number of Covid-19 children hospitalized for treatment has increased since the beginning of May. The hospitalized cases have moderate conditions, complications of pneumonia, continuous high fever, etc. There have been no cases of children with Covid-19 requiring ventilators.

To proactively prevent Covid-19, Hai Duong Children's Hospital has a plan to screen and triage children when they come for medical examination and treatment. Suspected cases of Covid-19 with symptoms of cough, fever, epidemiological information related to the disease... will be triaged immediately at the examination department. Each specialized department arranges a separate room to treat patients with specialized diseases and Covid-19. The Emergency Resuscitation Department arranges a separate area to receive pediatric patients with Covid-19 in case of severe complications.
