The Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee has just sent a document to the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee, conveying the directive of the Provincial Party Secretary requesting an investigation and report on the handling of the content mentioned in the article "Strange story in Quang Nam: out of 4 diseases, only 1 must be confirmed to comply with the resolution" on Tuoi Tre Online.
Accordingly, the report is required before December 31st.
Also on December 26th, the Office of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province issued a notice summarizing the conclusions of Mr. Tran Anh Tuan, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, at a meeting with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs and related agencies to hear reports on obstacles in implementing Resolution 29.
Specifically, it requires the Quang Nam Provincial Department of Health to take the lead and coordinate with the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to urgently inspect, review, and compile detailed statistics on the names and specific disease codes of the 42 serious diseases stipulated in Resolution 29 and related specialized regulations, in accordance with central government regulations (ICD-10).
At the same time, proactively monitor and update the regulations and guidelines of the Ministry of Health regarding the issuance of amendments and additions to the list of serious diseases, in order to promptly submit documents to competent authorities for consideration and adjustment of Resolution 29.
The Vice Chairman of the Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee also requested the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, based on the guidance document, to compile detailed statistics on specific diseases and issue specific documents to provide detailed guidance.
The request is to organize professional training programs and courses for agencies, units, and localities throughout the province to ensure uniformity in the implementation of Resolution 29.
