Binh Thuan welcomes more than 800,000 visitors in 1 month

In May 2023, Binh Thuan tourism continued to make its mark when welcoming more than 800,000 visitors (estimated statistics reached 805,300), an increase of 9.18% over the previous month and an increase of 66.45% over the same period last year. In particular, the number of international visitors in the month is estimated at 21,700, an increase of 4.35% over the previous month and an increase of 4.4 times over the same period, mainly from Korea, Germany, UK, USA, China...

This result was achieved thanks to many favorable factors: During the month, there was a long holiday, Phu Quy island tourism attracted visitors, the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway opened to traffic, helping to significantly shorten travel time for tourists... Besides, there were also a number of cultural and sports activities taking place in Phan Thiet City such as the kite flying festival, Miss & Mister Fitness Super Model World 2023 contest.

In total, from the beginning of the year until now, the whole province is estimated to have welcomed 3,626,500 visitors, an increase of nearly 2 times compared to the same period last year, of which international visitors are about 111,000, an increase of 5.7 times compared to the same period... Binh Thuan tourism has been bustling, also contributing to raising revenue from tourism activities in the past 5 months to an estimated 9,275 billion VND, an increase of 2.6 times compared to the same period last year.
