(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On April 29, the Provincial Military Command organized a meeting to disseminate and deploy the tasks of being on duty and ready to fight on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 3, 2025) and International Labor Day, May 1 for agencies and units of the provincial military.

At the briefing, Colonel Vu Van Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander requested agencies and units to thoroughly grasp and strictly implement the directives, plans and regulations on combat readiness to 100% of officers and soldiers. Strengthen the grasp of the local situation, promptly report and handle arising situations to avoid being passive and surprised.

Besides, the Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to pay attention to ensuring good spiritual life, regimes and standards for officers and soldiers during combat readiness duty.

After the briefing, the Provincial Military Command inspected the work of ensuring combat readiness at the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, the Provincial Military Command Staff Office and the Thanh Hoa City Military Command.

After listening to the unit commanders' reports, the inspection team issued a situation alert to check the handling and mobility capabilities to carry out combat missions to protect assigned targets according to plans and situations.

Through the inspection, the Provincial Military Command highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of officers and soldiers in performing their duties. At the same time, it requested agencies and units to continue to strictly implement the directives and instructions from above on combat readiness before, during and after the holidays; strengtheneducation and dissemination for officers and soldiers to deeply understand their duties, clearly define their responsibilities, and be determined to complete all assigned tasks well; especially maintain strict patrol and guard regimes to ensure absolute safety for people, weapons, equipment and vehicles; strictly control the number of troops, carefully prepare facilities, weapons and technical equipment to serve the task when situations arise, and not be passive or surprised in any situation.
