The Provincial Military Command thoroughly grasps the task of combat readiness on the occasion of April 30 and May 1 holidays.

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - On April 29, the Provincial Military Command organized a meeting to disseminate and deploy the tasks of being on duty and ready to fight on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 3, 2025) and International Labor Day May 1 for agencies and units of the Provincial Armed Forces.

The Provincial Military Command briefed on combat readiness tasks for the April 30th and May 1st holidays.

At the briefing session, Colonel Vu Van Tung, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Commander, requested that all agencies and units thoroughly understand and strictly implement the directives, plans, and regulations on combat readiness to 100% of officers and soldiers. He also emphasized the need to strengthen monitoring of the local situation, promptly report and handle emerging situations to avoid being caught off guard.

In addition, Party committees and commanders of agencies and units need to pay attention to ensuring a good spiritual life, entitlements, and standards for officers and soldiers during periods of combat readiness duty.

Following the briefing, the Provincial Military Command conducted an inspection of combat readiness at the Mechanized Reconnaissance Company, the Staff Department of the Provincial Military Command, and the Thanh Hoa City Military Command.

After hearing reports from the unit commanders, the inspection team simulated a scenario and sounded the alarm to test the units' ability to handle and deploy combat missions to protect assigned targets according to various plans and scenarios.

Through inspection, the Provincial Military Command highly appreciated the spirit and responsibility of officers and soldiers in performing their duties. At the same time, it requested agencies and units to continue strictly adhering to directives and guidelines from higher authorities regarding combat readiness before, during, and after the holiday period; to strengthen education and instill in officers and soldiers a deep understanding of their duties, clearly define their responsibilities, and be determined to successfully complete all assigned tasks; especially to strictly maintain patrol and guard duties to ensure absolute safety of personnel, weapons, equipment, and vehicles; to maintain strict troop levels, and to meticulously prepare facilities, weapons, and technical equipment to serve the mission in case of any situation, avoiding passivity and surprise in all circumstances.
