Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has issued a decision to revoke the certificate of eligibility to act as a petroleum distributor.

Including the revocation of licenses for Du Hoai Company Limited located in Soc Trang ; Dong Do Fuel Import-Export Joint Stock Company located in Ho Chi Minh City.

Revoked licenses and inspected many businesses

At the same time, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has established a team to inspect the conditions for granting certificates of eligibility to act as petroleum distributors for a number of enterprises.

Including CTV Trading and Service Joint Stock Company headquartered in Ho Chi Minh City, on-site inspection at the company's headquarters and retail gasoline stores; 7 retail gasoline stores belonging to the company's agents and other inspection contents.

Regarding petroleum wholesalers, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has also established an inspection team to inspect the compliance with the conditions of petroleum wholesalers for Hai Linh Company Limited (located in Phu Tho ).

This is one of the large-scale petroleum wholesalers in the North.

Accordingly, the ministry requested relevant authorities to verify and provide information.

Specifically, the Phu Tho Department of Industry and Trade was asked to verify and provide information about retail gasoline stores owned by and retail gasoline agents belonging to the system of Hai Linh Company Limited in this province.

Including 9 retail stores owned by Hai Linh Company and dozens of stores belonging to 15 affiliated agents of this company.

In addition, the ministry also requested the Department of Industry and Trade of a series of other provinces such as Lao Cai, Lang Son, Ha Giang, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, and Bac Ninh to verify and provide information about retail gasoline agents under the distribution system of Hai Linh Company in the area with dozens of stores and affiliated agents.

Verify retail stores of a leading business in many provinces and cities

For this enterprise, the Ministry of Industry and Trade requires localities to verify and provide information on gasoline retail stores owned by the company, gasoline retail stores affiliated with the company's agents; verify and provide information on the legality and validity of the certificate of eligibility of the store to retail gasoline; verify and provide information on the maintenance of operations of gasoline retail stores.

Previously, in a meeting with key traders on the situation of gasoline supply at the end of July, the Ministry of Industry and Trade assessed that traders had basically complied with legal regulations on gasoline trading, reported on maintaining and changing the distribution system, reported on the situation of production, export, import, inventory, reported on the price stabilization fund, declared selling prices... periodically according to regulations and suddenly according to the request of the ministry.

However, there are still traders showing signs of violating business conditions, the ministry has reviewed and directed the General Department of Market Management to inspect and handle according to regulations.

Many traders who did not maintain the conditions proactively returned their certificates of eligibility to be petroleum distributors. Some traders have not proactively submitted reports as required, so the ministry had to urge and remind them.

In the first 6 months of the year, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued a decision to inspect the maintenance of petroleum trading conditions of 6 wholesale traders and 8 distributors.

Through reviewing the report on maintaining business conditions, the Ministry has directed the General Department of Market Management to inspect 4 key traders and 20 distributors with signs of violations for consideration and handling according to regulations.
