World pepper price December 4: Brazilian market increases sharply

Update on world pepper prices from the International Pepper Association (IPC) on the morning of December 4, 2025, today's exported pepper recorded strong fluctuations in the Brazilian market . Other markets have stable prices compared to yesterday's trading session.

Specifically, the price of Brazilian pepper increased sharply by 150 USD/ton (up 1.2%) compared to yesterday's trading session. Currently, the price of Brazilian pepper is trading at 6,250 USD/ton.

Meanwhile, Indonesia's Lampung black pepper price was traded at USD 7,004/ton, unchanged from the previous session.

Similarly, the price of Muntok white pepper of this country also remained unchanged compared to yesterday, currently trading at 9,657 USD/ton.

Vietnam's white pepper price today remained unchanged, anchored at a high of 9,250 USD/ton.

The price of Vietnamese black pepper 500 gr/l remained unchanged compared to yesterday, reaching 6,500 USD/ton. Vietnamese black pepper 550 gr/l reached 6,700 USD/ton.

In Malaysia, the price of ASTA black pepper is currently stable at 9,200 USD/ton. The price of ASTA white pepper in this market today reached 12,300 USD/ton, unchanged from yesterday.

Meanwhile, the domestic pepper market price today ( December 4) continued to decrease locally in some places by 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. Currently, domestic pepper is traded in the range of 147,000 - 149,000 VND/kg.

Specifically, in Gia Lai today, pepper is traded at 147,000 VND/kg, down another 1,000 VND/kg this morning.

Meanwhile, traders in Dak Lak and Lam Dong traded pepper at 149,000 VND/kg, down 1,000 VND/kg compared to yesterday. These are also the two localities with the highest pepper prices in the country today.

Dong Nai and Ho Chi Minh City recorded pepper prices unchanged compared to yesterday, currently trading at 148,000 VND/kg.
