According to Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor CKII Pham Xuan An, Director of Military Hospital 15: What the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the Hospital always worry about is how to build a strong Hospital in all aspects to serve well the work of examination, treatment, and health care for officers, employees, soldiers, and workers of the 15th Army Corps and serve the people in the area. The PTTD building a "5-good military medical unit" is a favorable condition, creating motivation for the Hospital to perform its tasks well. In order for the PTTD to bring practical results, the Hospital has strictly implemented the directives, resolutions, and instructions of superiors and specified the content of the PTTD in the leadership resolution; promoted propaganda andeducation to create consensus among all officers and employees; determined the specific contents and goals of the PTTD to make breakthroughs in implementation at each appropriate time and stage.

Due to the large area of ​​duty, the population is mainly ethnic minorities, so following the direction of the Corps leader, the Hospital has sent officers to join the mobile emergency medical teams, proactively preparing medicine and equipment ready to go to the emergency when there is a situation. With the viewpoint of "prevention is better than cure", the doctors of Military Hospital 15 always proactively grasp the epidemic situation, synchronously deploy epidemic prevention and control measures, and propagate scientific and hygienic living to soldiers and people. Thanks to that, from 2018 to now, agencies and units under Corps 15 have not had any epidemics, the average healthy rate of the Corps is more than 98.5%.

According to Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor CKII Pham Xuan An, the Hospital focuses on developing modern medicine while attaching great importance to traditional medicine, applying folk remedies in examination and treatment. The Hospital mobilizes cadres and employees to actively plant many types of medicinal plants; directs the construction of the youth project "Southern Medicine Garden" with a total area of ​​over 1,000m2 , planting more than 60 types of medicinal plants... Non-drug treatments are also widely and effectively used. In 2019, the Hospital established the Department of Traditional Medicine - Rehabilitation, increasing the rate of treatment combining traditional medicine with modern medicine.

Along with taking good care of the health of officers, employees and soldiers in the Corps, Military Hospital 15 regularly cooperates with local health care to organize sanitation, epidemic prevention, spraying and treating people with insecticides... From 2018 to present, Military Hospital 15 has examined and provided free medicine to more than 13,000 people, which has been highly appreciated by the local authorities and people.

With the efforts of the staff, in 2022, Military Hospital 15 examined, admitted, and treated nearly 90,000 patients, with a cure rate of 95%. In the first 5 months of 2023, the hospital examined, admitted, and treated more than 35,000 patients, including nearly 9,000 ethnic minority patients. With outstanding achievements in the campaign to build "5 good military medical units", Military Hospital 15 was awarded an emulation flag by the Steering Committee for the campaign "Army logistics sector follows Uncle Ho's teachings" of the Ministry of National Defense; Lieutenant Colonel, Doctor CKII Pham Xuan An was awarded a certificate of merit by the Minister of National Defense.
