(TN&MT) - Considered a “living” museum of the culture of ethnic groups that has been passed down through the centuries, traditional festivals are facing many risks due to the impact of integration trends, “commercialization”, “unification”, “monotonization”… In that context, the promulgation of the Criteria for building a cultural environment in traditional festivals (the Criteria) has an important meaning, not only harmonizing the factors of preservation and development, but also ensuring the survival of traditional cultural values.
