Minister Nguyen Hong Dien: Autumn Fair 2025: A global connection point.

The fair is a gathering place for thousands of domestic and foreign enterprises; expected to become a highlight in a series of events promoting trade, investment, tourism, and innovation in Vietnam.

In just a few days, the Autumn Fair 2025 – a national-scale economic and cultural event of international stature – will officially open at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).

With the message "Connecting people with production and business," the fair is expected to become a key highlight in Vietnam's series of events promoting trade, investment, tourism , and innovation.

At the same time, it is also a hub for thousands of domestic and international businesses, technology corporations, major e-commerce platforms, and a large number of consumers.

On this occasion, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien - Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee for the 2025 Autumn Fair - had an exchange with the press about the significance, expectations, and development direction of this special event.

- With the message "Connecting people with production and business," how will the Autumn Fair 2025 affirm the position of Vietnamese products and services in the global supply and value chain, Minister?

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien : The Autumn Fair 2025 is a national-scale economic and cultural event with international stature; it is positioned as "a fair connecting trade, investment, tourism with culture and innovation."

The Autumn Fair 2025 attracted the participation of over 2,500 domestic and international businesses with 3,000 standard booths to showcase and introduce typical and key products in many fields, from industrial products, science and technology, innovation, cultural industry, e-commerce to agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, services and tourism...

With its impressive scale, rich content, and most modern format ever, the 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors and traders each day; at the same time, it will attract a large number of international partners and businesses to trade, seek business cooperation and investment opportunities.

This will be an opportunity to celebrate and showcase Vietnam's tremendous achievements over 40 years of reform, demonstrating the country's strong progress under the leadership of the Party and State, and the pioneering role of the Vietnamese business community.

In particular, this is also an important forum to affirm the increasingly high position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain, thereby effectively promoting the brands of products and services and the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam with strong endogenous capacity and creative spirit, always ready to cooperate and integrate deeply in all fields.

- Minister, could you please share more about your expectations after the 2025 Autumn Fair?

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien : The fair will be a place where economic, political, and cultural activities intersect; a bridge between tradition and modernity; and a gathering place for businesses, the public, and creativity.

With an unprecedented number of businesses and booths, a large influx of international visitors for trade and sightseeing, and the presence of renowned buyers, major international and domestic e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon, Alibaba, and leading Vietnamese electronics technology corporations) will help promote the application of Industry 4.0 technology in exhibitions and trade, opening up opportunities for global online access for Vietnamese goods and services.

Furthermore, the trade fair will facilitate connections between manufacturers and distributors, and between exporters and international importers.

The 2025 Autumn Fair will become a key highlight in the national economic and trade event series, helping to connect supply chains, stimulate consumer demand, promote production, import and export, contributing to the successful achievement of the growth target of over 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the following years, creating a solid foundation for the country to enter a new era - an era of national wealth and prosperity.

The Steering Committee also believes that the Autumn Fair 2025 will become a prestigious meeting point, a top choice for investors and trade partners in the region and the world, and will become a strong brand of Vietnam in the future, creating an important foundation to become a four-season annual event (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter).
