Minister Nguyen Hong Dien: Autumn Fair 2025 is a global connection point

In just a few days, the 2025 Autumn Fair - a national-scale, international economic and cultural event will officially open at the Vietnam Exhibition Center (VEC).

With the message “Connecting people with production and business,” the fair is expected to become an important highlight in the series of events promoting trade, investment, tourism and innovation in Vietnam.

At the same time, this is also a gathering place for thousands of domestic and foreign enterprises, technology corporations, large e-commerce platforms and a large number of consumers.

On this occasion, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien - Deputy Head of the Steering Committee of the Autumn Fair 2025 had an interview with the press about the meaning, expectations and development orientation of the special event.

- With the message "Connecting people with production and business", how will the Autumn Fair 2025 affirm the position of Vietnamese products and services in the global supply and value chain, Minister?

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien : The 2025 Autumn Fair is an economic and cultural event of national scale and international stature; positioned as a "Fair connecting trade-investment-tourism with culture and innovation."

The 2025 Autumn Fair attracts the participation of over 2,500 domestic and international enterprises with 3,000 standard booths to display and introduce typical and key products in many fields, from industrial products, science and technology, innovation, cultural industry, e-commerce to agricultural products, processed foods, consumer goods, services and tourism...

With its grand scale, rich content and the most modern format ever, the 2025 Autumn Fair is expected to welcome hundreds of thousands of visitors and traders every day; at the same time, attract a large number of international partners and businesses to trade, seek business cooperation and investment opportunities.

This will be an opportunity to honor and introduce Vietnam's great achievements in 40 years of renovation, demonstrating the country's strong progress under the leadership of the Party, State and the pioneering role of the Vietnamese business community.

In particular, this is also an important forum to affirm the increasingly high position of Vietnamese products and services in the global production and supply chain, thereby effectively promoting product and service brands and the image of a dynamic, innovative Vietnam with strong internal capacity and creativity, always ready to cooperate and integrate deeply in all fields.

- Could you please share more about your expectations after the 2025 Fall Fair?

Minister Nguyen Hong Dien : The fair will be a place where economic, political and cultural activities intersect; a bridge between tradition and modernity; and a gathering place for businesses, the public and creativity.

With an unprecedented number of businesses and booths, a large number of international visitors coming to trade and visit, and the presence of famous buyers, large international and domestic e-commerce platforms (such as Amazon, Alibaba and leading Vietnamese electronic technology corporations) will help promote the application of 4.0 technology in display and trade, opening up opportunities for global online access for Vietnamese goods and services.

Not only that, at the fair there will be contracts connecting manufacturers with distributors, exporters with international importers...

The 2025 Autumn Fair will become an important highlight in the national economic and trade event chain, helping to connect the supply chain, stimulate consumption, promote production, import and export, contributing to the successful implementation of the growth target of over 8% in 2025 and double-digit growth in the coming years, creating a solid foundation for the country to enter a new era - the era of national wealth and prosperity.

The Steering Committee also believes that the Autumn Fair 2025 will become a prestigious meeting place, the first choice of investors and trade partners in the region and the world, and at the same time become a strong brand of Vietnam in the future and create an important foundation to become an annual event in the four seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.
