The Provincial Border Guard Command Headquarters project covers a total area of over 8,732 m2. To date, 19 out of 20 bidding packages have been selected and contracts signed. Currently, the construction and equipment installation package for the Command Headquarters and office building has completed the rough construction phase and is undergoing finishing work. The project is expected to be handed over and put into use in December 2023.

Speaking at the inspection, Major General Nguyen Duc Manh commended the Provincial Border Guard Command for proactively completing the preparation and submission of project plans and construction drawings for approval at all levels, ensuring compliance with procedures and regulations. Major General Nguyen Duc Manh requested the Provincial Border Guard Command and relevant agencies, contractors, and construction units to focus on and coordinate efforts to accelerate the progress of projects, especially construction packages; and to proactively manage bidding and procurement to ensure timely completion. He emphasized that barracks planning should take into account adjustments to organization and staffing from higher levels, as well as the unit's future development, to ensure long-term planning. He also stressed the importance of mobilizing human and material resources, implementing all work simultaneously and synchronously where available space and construction conditions permit. Furthermore, he stressed the need to mitigate adverse weather conditions during the rainy season and proactively accelerate construction progress to meet the extended deadlines.
