The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to review and supplement the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

On the morning of October 11, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to review and supplement the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term. Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the conference.

Attending the Conference were Deputy Ministers: Ta Quang Dong; Trinh Thi Thuy; Hoang Dao Cuong; Ho An Phong and leaders of units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

On the guest side, there were representatives from the Party Central Office; Central Organizing Committee; Central Inspection Committee; Central Internal Affairs Committee .

Conference to review and supplement the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister for the 2021-2026 term.

Speaking at the Conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung stated that planning is one of the important and regular contents in the Party's personnel work. Planning aims to early detect sources of capable and qualified cadres for training, fostering, and rotation, and is also the basis for training, testing, and assigning cadres to take on positions.

The Minister emphasized that personnel planning is the first step in discovering sources, so our Party always focuses on perfecting regulations on personnel planning. Recently, the Politburo issued Regulation No. 50-QD/TW dated December 27, 2021 on personnel planning; the Central Organizing Committee issued Instruction No. 16-HD/BTCTW on some specific contents on personnel planning on February 15, 2022.

"It can be seen that the Party's regulations on personnel planning are becoming clearer, along with that the requirements for personnel planning are also higher, the planning steps are more cautious. The responsibility of competent authorities is enhanced as well as democracy is promoted to discover sources of personnel," the Minister stated.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung spoke at the Conference.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung said that in recent times, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has always focused on personnel work, including personnel planning to create a source of cadres, leaders and managers at all levels.

At the Conference, the Minister announced the results of the collective leadership conference of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on reviewing and supplementing the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism held earlier, and at the same time disseminated some contents on reviewing and supplementing the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister to the delegates.

Minister Nguyen Van Hung requested delegates to attend the Conference with a sense of responsibility, seriousness, democracy, objectivity, openness, fairness, impartiality, and strictly comply with the principles and regulations of the Party and State to select a team of comrades to be included in the planning for the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term.

After the Minister's speech, the Conference conducted the procedures to review and supplement the planning of the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term to ensure compliance with regulations.
