On the morning of October 11th, in Hanoi , the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a conference to review and supplement the planning for the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung chaired the conference.
Attending the conference were Deputy Ministers Ta Quang Dong, Trinh Thi Thuy, Hoang Dao Cuong, and Ho An Phong, along with leaders of various units under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Among the invited delegates were representatives from the Central Party Office; the Central Organizing Committee; the Central Inspection Committee; and the Central Internal Affairs Committee .
Conference to review and supplement the planning of ministerial and deputy ministerial positions for the 2021-2026 term.
Speaking at the conference, Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung stated that planning is one of the important and regular aspects of the Party's personnel work. Planning aims to identify early on a pool of capable and qualified cadres for training, development, and rotation, and also serves as a basis for training, testing, and assigning cadres to various positions.
The Minister emphasized that personnel planning is a crucial step in identifying potential candidates, and therefore the Party has always prioritized improving regulations on personnel planning. Recently, the Politburo issued Regulation No. 50-QĐ/TW on December 27, 2021, on personnel planning; and the Central Organization Committee issued Guidance No. 16-HD/BTCTW on specific contents regarding personnel planning on February 15, 2022.
"It can be seen that the Party's regulations on personnel planning are becoming clearer, and along with that, the requirements set for personnel planning are also higher, and the planning process is more cautious. Emphasis is placed on the responsibility of competent authorities as well as promoting democracy to identify potential candidates," the Minister stated.
Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Party Committee, and Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Nguyen Van Hung delivered a speech at the conference.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung stated that, over the past period, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has always focused on personnel work, including personnel planning to create a pool of cadres, leaders, and managers at all levels.
At the conference, the Minister announced the results of the collective leadership meeting of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism on reviewing and supplementing the planning of ministerial and deputy ministerial positions, which took place earlier, and also disseminated some contents regarding the review and supplementation of ministerial and deputy ministerial positions to the delegates.
Minister Nguyen Van Hung urged delegates to attend the Conference with a sense of responsibility, seriousness, democratic focus, objectivity, transparency, fairness, and impartiality, strictly adhering to the principles and regulations of the Party and the State in order to select the team of comrades to be included in the planning for the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term.
Following the Minister's speech, the Conference proceeded with the review and supplementation of the planning for the positions of Minister and Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for the 2021-2026 term, ensuring compliance with regulations.
