BTS, BlackPink on Rolling Stone's list of '250 greatest songs of the 21st century'

The prestigious music magazine Rolling Stone (USA) has just announced the list of '250 greatest songs of the 21st century so far', including 4 K-pop songs by BTS, BlackPink, SNSD and NewJeans.

On October 9, Rolling Stone music magazine officially revealed its list of the "250 Greatest Songs of the 21st Century So Far". Notably, there were 4 K-pop songs on this chart.

Leading the way is BTS with their hit Spring Day ranked 37th, the highest of all Korean songs nominated.

In the comments section, Rolling Stone wrote: " Spring Day is one of the iconic songs of BTS - the greatest pop group of the 21st century.

Released in February 2017, Spring Day is the title track of the re-released album You Never Walk Alone - the group's second full album.

SNSD is the only Gen 2 group to be honored in the top 250. The national song Gee ranked 170th on the list. Rolling Stone called it a sweet pop song with a lively melody, contributing to making SNSD become a group loved by the whole of Korea since their debut in 2007.

Rolling Stone praised this as a youthful, addictive song: "An addictive song that once made TikTok 'explode', celebrating modern youth culture.
