Lam Bao Ngoc is currently one of the talented young singers in the Vietnamese music scene. In 2019, the singer, born in 1996, won the runner-up prize in The Voice Vietnam. Prior to that, she had won second place in the light music category at the Sao Mai Rendezvous 2017.

Few people know that Lam Bao Ngoc once went through a period of depression due to anxieties about her career and also suffered a shock in her love life.
“During the pandemic, I think it wasn't just me, but many people felt lonely, helpless, and experienced emotional separation from family and loved ones. So many things piled up that I fell into a dark corner. At that time, I couldn't sleep, and I kept hiding my head in the refrigerator to avoid the pain and sadness,” she recounted.
Lam Bao Ngoc was so disheartened that she rejected all offers from show promoters. In her mind, she just wanted to avoid the spotlight and no longer had the motivation to appear in front of people.

In 2023, Lam Bao Ngoc returned to the show The Masked Singer Vietnam season 2. Thanks to the program, she rediscovered her joy in music and also opened up new opportunities in her career.
After that, Lam Bao Ngoc became even more determined in her career. She continuously participated in many game shows, released new music products, and received a positive reception from the audience. From there, the singer from Nam Dinh decided to move to the South to develop her career.

In early March 2025, the runner-up of The Voice 2019 released the music video for "I'm Sorry ." This is a gentle, poignant ballad composed by Korean musician Pabaki, with Vietnamese lyrics written by Lam Bao Ngoc and her friend, who goes by the stage name Bo.
Sharing her reasons for choosing to release the product at this time, Lam Bao Ngoc said that this is the moment she feels her singing voice is most mature after more than 7 years pursuing a professional singing career.
Having participated in numerous music competitions and accumulated performance experience, the female singer feels that she has improved her vocal technique and knows how to convey emotions more clearly and profoundly through each lyric.
According to Lam Bao Ngoc, any musical product must be meticulously invested in, ensuring aesthetic appeal and seriousness throughout the production process. When I came to Ho Chi Minh City, I learned from others how to spread my products closer to the audience. But looking at it optimistically, I'm not suffering too much, because at least I still have a stage to sing on and shows to earn money.”

After nearly 10 years of singing, her biggest dream is to have her own live concert to perform her best songs, create high-quality music videos, and have many songs that people love.
"I believe that in the future, I need to learn more, broaden my horizons and abilities so that I can do better in art," the singer revealed.
