On June 13th, singer Zhang Hengyuan, the runner-up of The Voice China, passed away at the age of 37 after battling melanoma.
The funeral was held on June 18th in Guizhou, China. The ceremony was simple, in accordance with the singer's last wishes. The winner of The Voice 2013, Li Qi, was also present to bid farewell to his close friend and colleague.

Recently, after meticulously arranging her husband's funeral, singer Tat Ha shared images of his grave along with a touching farewell letter. She wrote to Truong Hang Vien, wishing him peace: "Today is a rainy day – a day you liked. Sleep well, you will never have to endure the pain of illness again. Protect everyone, so that those you love may be safe and healthy. When I miss you, I will look up at the stars. I know the brightest star is you. Dust to dust, rest in peace, my beloved."
The death of her husband when her son was less than a year old left singer Tat Ha devastated. Tat Ha expressed her gratitude to those who have supported and helped her during this difficult time. "I am grateful to everyone who has helped and stood by us. In the coming days, I will try to live strongly."
Reportedly, Tat Ha and her son remain in Guizhou, her husband's hometown.

Zhang Hengyuan was born in 1986 in Guizhou, China. He became known to the public when he participated in The Voice China in 2013. He chose to join the team of coach Wang Feng (Zhang Ziyi's husband). Having excelled against many strong competitors, Zhang Hengyuan won the runner-up prize.
After the competition, Truong Hang Vien pursued a professional singing career, releasing several songs such as "The Heir," "Black Wings," etc.
In March 2022, Zhang Hengyuan married singer Bi Xia after nine years together. The couple welcomed their first son in August of the same year. Currently, the boy is not yet one year old.
