*Hung Yen Province Veterans Association
On the afternoon of July 24, the Provincial Veterans Association (VVA) coordinated with the VVA Entrepreneurs Association of Hung Yen province to visit and present gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions.
The delegation visited and presented 60 gifts to 60 families of policy beneficiaries and people with revolutionary contributions in the province. Along with the above activities, in recent times, the Provincial Association of War Veterans and the Provincial Association of War Veterans Entrepreneurs have organized many meaningful and practical activities such as: Revisiting the old battlefield, lighting candles to pay tribute to heroic martyrs. In particular, responding to the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses of the province, the Association mobilized over 1.6 billion VND to build and repair 26 houses for members and families of policy beneficiaries in difficult circumstances.
The above activities demonstrate humanity, spread the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", contribute to easing the pain of war and foster the tradition of patriotism, pride and sense of responsibility to the Fatherland in generations, especially the young generation.
*Dien Ha Commune
On the morning of July 24, Dien Ha commune organized delegations to visit and present 96 gifts to disadvantaged policy families in the area, each worth 500,000 VND.
On this occasion, the commune called for and mobilized nearly 400 million VND to build a Gratitude Fund and presented 1,337 gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, people infected with Agent Orange, people imprisoned by the enemy, relatives of martyrs, family of meritorious people in the area
In addition, Dien Ha commune received and presented 40 gifts from the Provincial Military Command and Provincial Police to meritorious people in the commune. The commune union mobilized union members and young people to participate in renovating the cemetery grounds of martyrs in the area. The commune will hold a memorial service, light candles in gratitude, and release flower lanterns to commemorate the heroic martyrs on the evening of July 26. The activities demonstrate the tradition of "When drinking water, remember its source", contributing to educating the younger generation about gratitude and responsibility in the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.
* Nguyen Trai Commune
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), in addition to the gifts from the President and the province to the meritorious people and their relatives in the area, Nguyen Trai commune organized visits and presented gifts to 30 families of meritorious people, with a total amount of 21 million VND taken from the Commune Gratitude Fund. The Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the commune presented 27 gifts to the wounded, sick soldiers, and families of martyrs in the commune.
In addition to visiting and giving gifts to families of people with meritorious services, the commune organized incense and flower offerings at the martyrs' cemetery; the commune's Youth Union organized a candle lighting ceremony to pay tribute to heroic martyrs; the unions decorated the inside and outside of the martyrs' cemetery..., contributing to express deep gratitude to the generation of fathers and brothers who fought and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
*Tan Thuan Commune
On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on the morning of July 24, the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tan Thuan commune held an incense offering ceremony to commemorate heroic martyrs at the Monument of Heroic Martyrs and organized delegations to visit and present 18 gifts to policy families and people with revolutionary contributions in the commune.
At the places visited, the commune leaders asked about the health and expressed their deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of war invalids, sick soldiers, families with meritorious services, and relatives of martyrs in the cause of national liberation and reunification. At the same time, they hoped that families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services would continue to uphold their traditions, live happily and healthily, be shining examples for the younger generation to follow, and contribute to the development of their homeland. On this occasion, Huong Sen Packaging Company Limited presented 18 gifts to families with meritorious services and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the commune.
Also on July 24, Tan Thuan commune organized the awarding of 176 gifts from the province to 176 poor households in the commune, each gift was 10 kg of rice, the total value of the gifts was 44 million VND. Thereby, to share the difficulties with poor households, encourage poor households to actively work and produce, and strive to escape poverty sustainably.
* Van Giang Commune
On the morning of July 24, Van Giang commune organized delegations to visit and present gifts to 9 martyrs' mothers who are receiving monthly preferential allowances in the area. Each gift includes 1 massage pillow and 500,000 VND.
On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the commune and socio-political organizations mobilized socialization and presented 22 gifts to people with revolutionary contributions in difficult circumstances in the commune with a total value of nearly 8 million VND. The Youth Union coordinated with associations and mass organizations of the commune to collect garbage and beautify the landscape inside and outside the martyrs' temple and 3 martyrs' cemeteries in the area.
According to plan, the commune will organize a visit to the martyrs' cemetery and light candles to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs on the evening of July 25.
