However, there are still cases where after training, the body feels tired, uncomfortable, and even feels like there is no more energy. There are many reasons leading to this condition.

The first cause to mention is the problem of blood sugar. If before exercising, we eat something with a lot of sugar, such as cake, then blood sugar will increase during exercise. But then, blood sugar will suddenly decrease and make the body feel tired. This state combined with muscle pain and loss of physical strength during exercise will increase fatigue.

To prevent this, experts recommend that people eat foods rich in protein and fiber such as eggs, bananas, potatoes, whole grains, milk or dairy products before exercising. These foods will not increase blood sugar suddenly and help the body not fall into a state of excessive fatigue afterwards.

In addition, physical activity will reduce the amount of glycogen stored in the muscles and liver. To restore glycogen, people need to have a balanced meal with complex carbohydrates, protein and healthy fats.

Other causes of excessive fatigue after exercise include lack of sleep and dehydration. The body will not have enough energy to exercise and maintain daily activities if it lacks sleep. The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends that the average adult needs at least 7 hours of sleep per night.

Intense exercise, especially in hot weather, can dehydrate the body. Not drinking enough water can lead to symptoms such as fatigue, dry skin, dizziness, and a rapid heartbeat. Therefore, drinking enough water before, during, and after exercise can help reduce fatigue, according to Medical News Today .
